Ramona Elisabeta Cîrlig
Dr. Ramona Elisabeta Cirlig is an attorney-at-law specialising in international disputes, with a background in Communication Sciences, and a passion for advocacy, persuasive writing and legal design. She is fluent in English, French and Romanian.
Mrs Cirlig has been involved, as Counsel or Tribunal Secretary, in institutional arbitrations (governed by ICC, VIAC, DIS, IFTA, CCIR-CICA rules), and ad hoc arbitrations (notably under UNCITRAL rules), with the seat of arbitration in Bucharest, Paris, Geneva, Bonn.
Dr Cirlig is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and a Panel Member of the Business Arbitration Scheme. She accepts appointments as an international arbitrator and tribunal secretary.
Prior to founding RC International Disputes, Mrs Cirlig was part of the litigation and arbitration team of a top-tier Romanian law firm, and before joining the Bucharest Bar as an attorney, she gained valuable experience in human rights law while working for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and interning with the United Nations Information Center.
Mrs Cirlig obtained her Ph.D at the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest focusing her research on conflict of laws in international arbitration. She holds a LLM in International and European Law – Institute for European Studies, Vrije Universiteit Brussels, graduated magna cum laude. She holds a BA in Law from the University Nicolae Titulescu in Bucharest, and a BA in PR and Communication Sciences from the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations, National School of Political and Administrative Studies in Bucharest.
Andrei Călin Coroian
With over 23 years in the legal field, both in dispute resolution and in business law consultancy, Mr Calin Coroian is recognized for his tact and diplomacy in negotiations, as well as for his very composed presence in disputes. His presence of mind proved crucial both in settlement negotiations and during intensive pleadings.
Mr Coroian has a wealth of experience in corporate law advisory and corporate disputes, commercial and contractual negotiations and all related disputes, GDPR compliance and risk assessments, Intellectual property law, and IT law. He is also an insolvency practitioner, experienced in all aspects of insolvency proceedings. He is fluent in English, French and Romanian.
Prior to joining RC International Disputes, Mr Coroian collaborated with a top-tier Romanian law firm, and before practising as an attorney, he acquired significant experience in corporate law while working for the National Trade Register Office, as well as for the Cluj Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mr Coroian holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Babes Bolyai University – Faculty of Business, a Master of Law in Commercial and Civil Law from Dimitrie Cantemir University – Faculty of Law, and a Bachelor of Law from Babes Bolyai University – Faculty of Law.
